Pakistan – Introduction
Pakistan was declared the best attractive country for infrastructure development due to successful investment in energy and transport projects.
Pakistan has a stream of the energy producing projects by the end of 2018 and the plans to generate another 30000 MW of electricity by 2030 to overcome the present energy crisis and to fulfill the future requirements of country.
Government of Pakistan announced the long-awaited water supply project K-IV, the desalination plant, procurement of buses for the Green Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project and other construction projects at a cost of Rs25 billion.
Three projects covering roads and flyovers and the upgrade of the city’s fire fighting system have been approved for Rs3 billion during the current financial year. Also an allocation of Rs5 billion has been proposed in the Public Sector Development Program 2018-19.
